Hand Lay Moulder

BSNI are currently working with a leading manufacturing company in the Lisburn area who are looking to recruit two Hand lay Moulders working a mixture of day and mid shifts on a two-week rotation.

The Hand lay Moulder will be responsible for the safe use of Moulds, tools and any post moulding operations needed to prepare the product. This will include:

- Safety: _

1. Ensure correct PPE is always worn.

2. Report Hazards, Near Misses and Accidents in the area.

3. Report any unsafe practices in the area-to-area Supervisor.

4. Complete of related machine data records (RTM).

5. Ensure full compliance to all safety aspects of the machine (RTM).

6. Ensure chemicals are always stored in chemical cabinets provided.

7. Report all defected equipment / tools / moulds to Area Supervisor / Area Manager.
- **Quality**:_

1. Clean and release Mould tools at the start of the shift and as required making it ready for moulding.

2. Follow defined Quality checks.

3. Follow MPS provided to Mould parts.

4. Ensure non-conforming parts are logged on non-conformance sheet.

5. Complete necessary paperwork, part labelling and stamping to ensure traceability of the parts.

6. Weigh / mix raw materials (resins, catalysts etc.) and record on the production record sheets of amounts used.

7. Ensure TPM (total preventative maintenance) record sheets are completed.
- **Performance**:_

1. Ensure Schedule Board is updated at the end of the shift highlighting shift performance.

2. Report faults to maintenance to minimize downtime.

3. Ensure production schedules are adhered to.

4. Report issues to Area Supervisor if daily target not achieved.

5. Ensure orders are completed to dispatch schedules.
- **Standard**:_

1. Ensure racks are available to store / de-mould parts.

2. Ensure good 5s housekeeping in the area.

3. Ensure all waste disposed into the bins provided.

4. Ensure attendance of daily huddles.

5. Ensure cleaning equipment is available.

**Experience**

Previous experience as a Hand Lay moulder Preferred

Previous experience working in a manufacturing or automovie environment.

**Working Hours on a two-week rotation (Subject to variation if required by the business)**:
Days - Monday to Thursday 07:00-15:00, Friday 05:30-12:00

Mids. - Monday to Thursday 15:00-23:00, Friday 12:00-18:30
