About PetsPyjamas

Founded in 2012 by avid dog lovers, PetsPyjamas Travel has grown rapidly to become the number 1 for dog-friendly travel, working with over 500 hotels throughout the UK, where dogs really are as welcome as their owners.

Hours of work are shifts to cover from 09.00- 21.00 this can be a variety of 4, 6 and 8 hour shifts. Initially being a small team of 10 Agents there are some differences for the needs of this client.

Boxing Day and New Year’s Day are working days for them, so shifts will need to be covered on those days from 09.00- 17.00.

The role

Using sales skills to convert enquiries into bookings, this role is requiring a high level of conversion of enquiries

Responding to all enquiries in an efficient and timely manner

Using initiative to up-sell and cross-sell other products to the customer

Maintaining a high level of product knowledge at all times

Excellent understanding and use of technology essential

Travel background essential

Who we are looking for
- Exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
- As their bespoke technology will be used then a sound understanding of technology and ability to learn new systems is important.
- Customer-focused with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Ability to multitask and think on your feet.
- Confident, highly approachable and a team player.
- Well-organised and with keen attention to detail.
- Fast learners with a hands-on approach.
- Flexible with the drive to go the extra mile.
- Thrive on independence but adore collaboration.
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to think outside the box
- Experience in domestic leisure travel sales preferred
- Speed test broadband 35mbh
