**Location: Hybrid/Remote (With the requirement to be in the Sherburn office 1 - 2 times per month)**

We are one of the largest suppliers of dried feeds and co-products to the UK dairy feed industry with exciting growth plans ahead. In this role you will proactively and profitably manage the sales portfolio of traded and product managed straights and commodities across the AB Dairy channels; ensuring the delivery of customer and business requirements with regard to service, communications, risk, cover, cost, working capital and overall gross margin. Using your knowledge and experience of the markets you will build relationships with customers, suppliers and our sales team to share market insights that will maximise sales opportunities contributing to increased product growth while acting as a trusted partner to meet customer needs.

- Manage the sale and supply planning across a portfolio of products including raw materials across the traded/product managed category.
- Build and develop strong supplier relationships to drive collaborative sales opportunities which drive product growth.
- Be the lead driver of sharing market and commercial insights with our sales teams and directly with our customer base.
- Develop and maintain effective key customer relationships and be the contact across an agreed product area.
- Work in liaison with the AB Dairy sales teams to maintain and grow the customer base, with particular focus on maximising volumes and contribution potential by account.
- Manage the product sales and purchase contracts with integrity to meet the needs of customers and suppliers.
- Work closely with the supply, operations and logistics teams to support on time / in full customer delivery.

**What you'll bring**:

- An understanding of the fundamental drivers of the UK ruminant industry would be highly beneficial. Exposure to other similar markets such as animal feed, raw materials or the FMCG markets would also be considered.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Previous experience of working with suppliers and customers with a commercial awareness of markets, supply chain and changing prices
- Strong problem solving, analytical and organisational skills with the drive to go above and beyond to deliver to our customers.
- We would consider a graduate or junior with emerging experience in this space.
