An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Student Learning Mentor to join the Outreach team to develop a personalised and supportive relationship with a group of year 9 students through to year 13 students from Norfolk-based schools from less advantaged backgrounds.

Key duties of the role include:

- Develop one-to-one mentoring relationships with students, meeting them on a regular basis to discuss progress according to termly objectives.
- Set realistic targets and implement strategies that reflect student abilities, strengths and stretch goals with the objective of building skills to raise student attainment.

You will have an awareness of national 14-19 educational issues, experience of mentoring and working with young people, and be educated to Level 3 (or hold equivalent experience in a similar role).

This full-time post is available from 4 March 2024 on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave until 20 December 2024.
