Laundry Assistant

Leicestershire County Care Ltd has been successfully running Residential Care Homes within the Midlands area for over 10 years. **We are currently seeking a Laundry Assistant for vacancies within Huntingdon Court, care home.**

**Daily duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Cleaning and maintaining resident linens, garments, wardrobes and drawers
- Washing, shoe polishing, pressing and ironing residents laundry to a high standard
- Labelling and minor alterations to the residents garment
- Putting laundry away in the residents bedrooms
- Maintaining laundry area by ensuring a clean working environment and equipment
- Maintaining a safe, secure, and clean working environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, C.O.S.H.H regulations.
- Reporting defects, damage and hazards to the management team
- Be able to work individually and as part of a team
- Offering visitors a friendly and professional welcome

**Shifts will include weekends.**
