**Intrigued to know more**

You may be supporting someone like Harriet*, who has a speech impediment & social anxiety, this has made it difficult for her to engage in a classroom environment. She was often disruptive and her behaviour led to her getting excluded from school and she spent nearly a year out of education.

She was referred to No Limits who identified the communication barriers in place & worked to overcome these. Harriet is very tech-savvy and enjoyed using a tablet, No Limits utilised this technology to support her in making choices, regulating emotions & structuring her day. She began to use her communication device more regularly and in different scenarios - such as ordering food at a café or choosing sessions that would interest & engage her.

No limits built on this and introduced other techniques to enhance her communication. Harriet now attends college days with MacIntyre, as part of her transition, where her confidence and engagement are improving.
