Venn Group is currently working with an NHS ICB, who are recruiting for a Data Architect to join their dynamic and fast paced team.

**Rate: £240.95 (PAYE) to £269.37 (Umbrella) per day**
**Location: To be confirmed**

**Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week**

**Duration: To be confirmed **

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for decisions made during the course of duties, seeking guidance and escalating issues where appropriate
- Participate in developing the future state data architecture standards, guidelines and principles
- Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions
- Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test and release features
- Define standards for naming, describing, governing, managing, modelling, cleansing, enriching, transforming, moving, storing, searching and delivering all data
- Define the vision, strategy and principles for data management
- Optimise performance of queries and ELT/ETL procedures
- Develop and maintain a formal description of the data and data structures including the data models, data flow diagrams, data dictionaries and technical metadata
- Management of a small team
- Responsible for one or more budgets and/or income streams of delivery
- Collaborate with Data Engineers on data model, its maintenance and optimisation as well as end-to-end data driven integration strategy
- Previous experience as a Data Architect
- NHS/Healthcare experience
- Significant experience with Microsoft BI solutions (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
- Experience of developing ETL process
