After becoming an approved tuition partner to the National Tuition Programme last year, we are seeking Qualified Teachers to run intervention lessons in Literacy and Numeracy across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 for a primary school in Barking and Dagenham.
All bookings run for at least 12 weeks with most schools booking back to back sessions throughout the academic year.
The successful applicant will be working with pupil groups to make interventions for primary aged students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 that need to raise their attainment. You will be working with mixed ability groups across the day and must be adaptableto the needs of your students. Groups are no more than 6 students per 1 hour session and students are grouped together on availability.
You will be working with multiple small groups across a school day and be required to record and track progress against the national curriculum level.
About you
- An experienced Primary teacher with QTS (NQTs/ECTs will be considered)
- Demonstrable history of teaching / tutoring literacy and numeracy to a high standard
- Experience delivering targeted interventions in English and Maths as and when required.
- Enthusiasm and creativity when delivering interventions to students of all ages and abilities
