We are working with a Luxury Private Hospital in the Heart of Kensington and Chelsea to recruit a CT Lead to join an Imaging Department. The Imaging department conducts a variety of CT examinations including full body imaging, neurological, cardiac and biopsyprocedures as well as some specialist orthopedic imaging and a brand new Siemens Somatom Force scanner.

**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

**CT Lead Radiographer Job Role**:
You will be working with a team of Senior Radiographer and reporting to the Superintendent Radiographer whilst leading a team of junior radiographers and helping to enhance the CT Imaging service for patients.

**Duties**:

- Be responsible for the daily management of the CT Service in liaison with the Superintendent Radiographers.
- Organise the daily work programme to ensure that the department runs efficiently.
- Develop and maintain staff rotas to ensure optimal staff provision in the CT department.
- Participate in the CT on call roster, for the purpose of CT cover.
- Supervise the professional standards and operational management of the rotating staff and their training in the CT department, ensuring a consistent level of service is maintained at all times.
- Understand and implement all policies and procedures relating specifically to CT scanning.
- Perform high quality examinations as required by referring physicians according to departmental policies and procedures and ensure that all patients being imaged receive a high standard of care.
- Accurately analyse the acquired data, record results and produce high quality images for reporting.
- BSc or DCR in Radiography.
- Post Graduate Certificate in CT would be desirable.
- Desirable to have experience of Siemens scanners.
- Substantial CT experience (minimum of 3 years) including Cardiac CT experience.
- Ability to work independently and make sensible clinical decisions, based on best practice.
- Enthusiasm for training and supporting staff.
