Yard Assistant

We are recruiting for a Yard Assistant to further strengthen our depot team and support our growing business. Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in preparing our plant equipment for hire and maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

Above all, you’ll have a great work ethic, be able to react to ever changing priorities and work with a minimum of supervision.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Interior and exterior cleaning of plant machinery to the highest standards.
- Re-fuelling machines.
- Preparing buckets and attachments.
- Fit tyres to wheel rims to ensure available stock for engineers.
- Support drivers with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
- General yard duties.
- Able to prioritise.
- Good paperwork and administration skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Safety conscious organised and able to comply with QHSE processes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Hard working, reliable and punctual.
- Team player able to work with mínimal supervision.

Own transport is desired as you’ll need to be within a sensible commute to our Depot in BR2 6AR which is not easily accessible via public transport.

- 7am - 5pm
