Assistant Deer Keeper

**With over 3,000 acres, Woburn Abbey Deer Park is one of the largest conservation parks in Europe with more than 1,200 individual deer from 9 species. It also includes Woburn Abbey Deer Farm set up in 1993, with a long term vision to maximise the potential of the Woburn Red Deer genetics around the world.**

We are looking for an experienced, committed, and proactive individual to assist our Head Deer Keeper with the day to day management of all aspects of our world famous deer herds.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record working with both park and farm deer, together with knowledge and experience of feed requirements and breeding plans. You should also be a good team player, able to effectively communicate and have personal drive and commercial awareness. It is essential that you have a full driving licence, current firearms certificate (with necessary deer conditions), Deer Stalking Certificate Level 1 and are used to working outdoors in all weather conditions. Tractor experience would also be beneficial.
