£10.79 per hour (including shift premium at £14.38 per hour) plus benefits
38.5 hours per week, Full Time (Working 8pm to 8am for 4 nights on and 4 nights off)
Bellshill, Lanarkshire
As Night Ambulance Crew you'll collect and transport deceased people coming into our care during the nighttime hours. We provide a 24-7 operation, supporting our clients at whatever time they need us. You'll be working on a regular shift pattern, with shifts starting at 8 pm and ending at 8 am. A full manual UK driver's licence is required for this job.
In this Night Ambulance Crew role, you can expect to:
- Carry out support activities at the funeral home, including the care and preparation of the deceased
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure a clear handover for daytime colleagues
- Update and maintain records on both written and digital platforms in line with processes and regulations
- Report to the Care Logistics Manager, carrying out any requests as instructed
This Night Ambulance Crew role would suit someone with the flexibility to work at night. You must have no problems with manual lifting or health issues that might prevent you from doing so. You’ll also need:
- A calm approach in sometimes distressing situations, with the ability to think on your feet
- A full UK manual driving licence
- The ability to take instructions and follow them to the letter, with great attention to detail
