We are looking to appoint a school administrator to join our dynamic and forward thinking outstanding team to provide a reliable and effective service to pupils and staff. The role would consist of a variety of tasks which support the day to day running of the school. No experience in a school is required. This would be a great opportunity for graduates to get school experience while contemplating a future career.

- **Education, Skills and Abilities**_

a) 2:1 or first class graduate from a reputable university

b) You must be keen to learn and take on additional responsibility in the future

c) Must have excellent communication, ICT and presentational skills, both written and oral.

d) Confident to multitask and work independently

e) Competent use of relevant administrative equipment/resources e.g. photocopier, fax and scanner

f) Ability to relate well to children and adults

g) Appropriate knowledge of first aid, training can be provided.

h) Ability to work constructively as a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities and the post holder’s position within these.

i) Ability to identify own training and development needs and cooperate with means to address these.

j) To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school

a) Support on reception, answering phone calls and responding to parent and staff queries.

b) Complete duties to facilitate school registration

c) General administrative duties as directed by the Head and Deputy Head Teacher

d) Use SIMS system to generate reports

e) Provide general clerical/admin support e.g. photocopying, filing, faxing, complete standard forms, and respond to routine correspondence.

f) To assist with pupil first aid and welfare, looking after sick pupils, liaising with parents, staff etc.

g) Assist with arrangements for school trips events etc.

h) Provide general advice and guidance to staff, pupils and others.

i) Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.

j) To adhere to school health and safety policy including risk assessment and safety systems.

k) To contribute to the overall ethos/aims of the school.

l) To appreciate and support the roles of other professionals.

m) Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required.

n) Participate in training opportunities and professional development as required.
