**Job Purpose**

Provision of services through the implementation of systems, procedures, training and policies in relation to the process engineering function and associated tasks. To assist in/perform other duties within your capability necessary to the operations of thebusiness.

Morning Shifts, Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30, Friday early finish 07:30 - 13:00

**Responsibilities**
- To comply with all the Company's policies with specific reference to the Quality and Health and Safety procedures, at all times;
- To work as part of a team;
- To liaise with line manager(s) and colleagues;
- Work within the facility to Company, customer & industry standards;
- Uphold standards by adhering to all policies and procedures;
- Management of chemical processes to ensure compliance with customer and Nadcap requirements;
- Environmental awareness and waste reduction;
- Review of drawings and specifications to assist in the quotation process;
- Ensuring that manufacturing processes meet customer and regulatory requirements, liaising with customers as required and participating in process audits;
- New product and part change planning;
- Promotion of efficient work flow;
- Process and equipment qualification;
- Flow down of requirements throughout the manufacturing facility via communication of simple, straightforward procedures;
- Removal of unnecessary bureaucracy;
- Working with process owners to ensure operating procedures are understood and followed;
- Continuous improvement of processes and reduction of non-added value activities;
- Ensuring that equipment maintenance programmes are effective and followed;
- Participation in improvement of the Quality Management System;
- Ensuring quality requirements are met for the transfer of work, and executed in a timely manner;
- Process engineering for new product introduction: advanced quality planning, manufacturing route, qualification, FMEA, inspection plan and key characteristics;
- Use recognised methods to identify root cause in the case of customer complaint or non
- conformance.

**General Duties**
- Contribute to high quality standards of both customers and recognised industry bodies;
- To undertake such other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature, as may be determined by the line manager(s) from time to time;
- To understand that as part of training and/or to meet the business needs of the Company you may be required to move to other parts of the Company;
- To implement sustainable manufacturing and quality processes, which are aligned with the strategic direction of the business, and which add value and minimise waste;
- Promote development of knowledge at all levels.
