**Registration Officer, Dorchester**

**22.2 hours per week / Permanent**

**£14,697 - £17,022**

This is an interesting, varied and demanding post registering births, deaths, stillbirths, marriages and civil partnerships and dealing with all customer enquiries to our dedicated Contact Centre. We are looking for a pro-active person who is organised, flexible, resilient, and able to adapt to the widely differing demands of our customers.

**What you will be doing**

This part-time post, working Monday to Wednesday, will be based in Dorchester, but you will be working in any of the registration offices in the county as required when registering and you will be based in Dorchester at the Registration Service head office whilst working in the Contact Centre or when undertaking various administration duties.

**About you**

There is extensive travel with this post, often at short notice, and the officer will be expected to provide their own car. Occasional standby and call out cover for some bank holidays will also be required.
