**Salary**: £52,084+ (Commensurate with skills and experience)

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Providing functional governance across the Digital Manufacturing (Numerical Control) discipline ensuring our processes are robust and fit for purpose ensuring the identification and development of best practice within the discipline including supporting the embodiment of Best Practice across all Air Systems Manufacturing Projects
- Hold regular discipline reviews, look to identify and exploit external industry best practice
- Review compliance returns from the programmes and carry out process confirmations
- Undertake to audit the performance of the respective processes deployed in a specific project or business as directed by the Discipline License Holder responsible for the Manufacturing Processes
- Undertake reviews and distribute documentation to aid professional development, and promote best practice, with all relevant DCL and Project Licence Holders
- Develop and maintain the Competency Framework Documentation, training material and user guides

**Your skills and experiences**:
**Essential**:

- Leadership experience in Digital Manufacturing (Numerical Control) or Manufacturing Engineering roles
- Experience working in manufacturing engineering teams as well as a track record of delivering successful capability improvement projects
- Understand the Digital Manufacture (NC) sub discipline resource pool in terms of skills, competency and demographics
- HNC qualified or equivalent qualification/experience in Manufacturing Engineering

**The Governance Team**:
The Governance Team sitting within the Manufacturing Engineering Processes (MEP) Team is responsible for providing functional governance across the ME organisation. The team consists of a number of discipline specialists responsible for providing strategic direction to the processes, toolset and people across the new and existing programmes. This will include incorporation of best practice and development of technology.
