Snowdrop Dental Receptionist

**Purpose of the role**:
When we look at our team and our patients at The Snowdrop Clinic, we

are so proud of our work and what we’ve achieved so far. We feel fulfilled and

challenged daily, (it may sound cliché... And it is) but it’s how we feel

We’re looking for someone to join the team here at The Snowdrop Clinic as either a

part-time or full-time receptionist. When people feel burned out, stifled or

unsatisfied with their job, the truth is, it usually isn't the job itself that’s the issue, it

is the environment and playground rules, given to them to do the job at hand.

Which is why we ask our team to take risks and try new and different things.

Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don’t, but we know we wouldn’t have

gotten to where we are without the team working together and doing things in their

own unique way.

We ask for one thing above all else. We ask that all of our team bring, all of

themselves, quirks and all Into the practice. You may be a talented Receptionist but

also a fantastic painter, or killer dancer. We want to see that part of you at work too

Key areas of the role

Provide consistent high standards of administrative support to our nurses and

dentists. A nice polite Telephone manner and the ability to multitask effectively and

prioritise workload efficiently. Liaise with dental laboratories to ensure work is

returned on time or if labs need further information in order to complete work.

Book patients to ensure the diary flows as is required by the clinical team to avoid

delays or clashes.
- Treat patients with respect and empathy.
- Have a positive attitude and good communication skills
- Be part of the team and work alongside other Snowdrop staff members to

achieve common goals that ensure the clinic runs smoothly.
- Embrace and promote the values of Snowdrop Clinic

Organisation skills
- Collect and record patient payments
- Encourage prompt payments and chase outstanding debts as advised by the

Practice manager
- Prepare day lists for each clinician
- Keep the office, reception area and waiting room clean and tidy
- Operate and maintain petty cash system
- Miscellaneous duties required to maintain the efficiency and standards within

the practice environment

Pay: £11.70-£13.00 per hour
