We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic assistant to join our team at The Basement Club based at Computershare in Edinburgh.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, whilst working within a friendly gym environment.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for fitness and delivering top quality service

**The Role**:
Contract: Part-time
Hours: 8 hours per week (overtime available)
Schedule: Thursday, 8am-4pm
Location: Computershare, 4 North St Andrew Street, Edinburgh, SH2 1HJ
Reports to: Club Manager
Ideal Start Date: As soon as possible

**Responsibilities**:

- Helping clients achieve their fitness goals
- Maintain the highest standards of service, presentation and professional advice offered to clients
- Developing relationships with new and existing clients
- Uphold presentation and cleanliness of the facility
- Deliver gym inductions
- Supervise and motivate all fitness facility clients
- Maintain a high level of knowledge, keeping abreast of new trends within the industry
- Ensure facility health & safety, and client well-being - including maintenance checks of equipment

**Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:

- Engaging, motivating and confident
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Passion for fitness and leisure
- Organized and driven
- Experience of working in a gym or fitness environment (ideal)
- First aid & personal trainer qualifications desirable but not essential

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8 per week

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
