Bookkeeper - Top 15 Firm

Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a highly prominent Top 15 firm that are eager to recruit a highly capable Bookkeeper to complement the existing team

Role Requirements
- Ideally working in a professional accountancy practice environment, you will have proven experience of supporting a diverse client portfolio as well as being highly proficient in the use of cloud-based software such as XERO, Quickbooks and Sage.

Role Requirements
- Supporting a diverse portfolio of clients, responsible for bookkeeping, VAT returns, management accounts (if applicable) and other assignments required by clients
Reviewing the work completed by junior members of the team
Reviewing and monitoring of accounting and system related reports for accuracy.
Liaising with clients directly to resolve queries or obtain further information as appropriate.
Working in close collaboration with the firms Partners and Managers
Maintaining and developing solid client relations
Undertaking research/ad hoc projects as appropriate

Person Requirements
- Consideration will be given to those that are qualified by experience or AAT qualified or late stages
Ideally practice experience in a similar role to include solid bookkeeping experience of at least 3+ years
Strong IT skills and knowledge of cloud accounting systems in particular Xero, Quickbooks, Sage
