**What will my role look like?**

Our ESG Department is expanding and we have an opportunity available for an ESG & Sustainability Projects Manager

The ESG & Sustainability Projects Manager is a broad role which covers diverse aspects of EG Group’s ESG agenda. The role requires someone who has a level of experience in sustainability (c.5-7 years), in managing ESG issues, influencing stakeholders andworking across business functions with colleagues at various levels of seniority, in a fast-paced environment. They must have a good eye for detail and be an excellent communicator.

**What would my main responsibilities be?**:

- Collaborate with key suppliers to understand their ESG approaches, especially on carbon reduction and tackling climate change
- Implement processes to improve our supply chain due diligence on ESG
- Deliver projects in a broad range of areas from modern slavery and human rights training, to waste reduction actions, external ESG communications and more
- Respond to requests for ESG data and information for inclusion in for example, investor packs, the Annual report and ESG report
- Liaise with different business units including HR, Health & Safety, Legal, Operations and Property to implement process and policy improvements on ESG
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as NGOs and partners on key ESG issues
- Manage the production of the UK Modern Slavery Act statement, including drafting content, sign off and publication
- Support the Head of ESG & Sustainability to embed the ESG strategy into the business, and ensure performance is on track across our targets
- Support the Head of ESG & Sustainability with information on sustainability performance as required.
- Manage 1 x FTE apprentice who will be working on and supporting with ESG projects
