Car Mover

Acorn is pleased to offer work opportunities for Car Movers in Immingham. For this position, you can work part-time, fit work around your full-time job, be semi-retired or retired.
Monday to Sunday, as and when the ship comes in:

- 8am - 8pm
- 8pm - 6am
You'll be working in a busy environment, moving vehicles from Immingham docks to a car compound 5 miles away, and point-to-point car moving within the compound itself. There is an element of paperwork involved for this role.
We also have more regular work working 6am - 4pm Monday to Friday within the compound itself, picking new vehicles in readiness to be loaded onto car transporters.
**Requirements**:

- Have held a full manual UK driving licence for more than 12 months (drivers negligence insurance purposes)
- No more than 6 penalty points or disqualifications
- Be confident to drive vehicles most of which are automatic and electric / hybrid
Pay Rates and benefits:

- £9.50 per hour - Monday to Friday days
- £10.84 per hour - Monday to Friday nights
- £10.84 per hour - Saturday day
- £12.17 per hour - Saturday night
- £12.38 per hour - Sunday day
- £13.92 per hour - Sunday night
