Ict Infrastructure Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity to join our IT Team as our next Infrastructure Engineer
You will assist and lead on projects involving installation and maintenance of IT hardware, software, networks, and communications systems as well as help to maintain a secure, robust, agile, and up to date infrastructure environment.
You will champion industry recognised IT best practice and help drive forward cyber security improvements across the IT estate, producing and maintain technical documentation as needed.
You will provide 3rd line technical expertise to the business and work with our Service Desk to resolve incidents and problems.
About you:
You will have experience of virtual server and virtual desktop environments and an excellent understanding of Hyper-V, VMware technologies and Veeam Backup and Replication, as well as experience setting up and maintaining routers, switches and access points.
You will have strong practical skills with IT hardware and software alongside the ability to work under your own initiative and drive.
You will also have excellent experience of implementing and supporting a wide range of infrastructure technologies and have an expert working knowledge of the latest Microsoft 365 solutions.
