**Responsibilities**:

- Install new roofs on residential and commercial buildings
- Repair and replace damaged or worn-out roofing materials
- Inspect roofs for leaks, damage, or other issues
- Remove debris and clean work areas after completing jobs
- Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Maintain accurate records of work performed

**Skills**:

- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for roofing tasks
- Knowledge of roofing materials and their proper installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Experience with welding and fabricating metal roofing components
- Strong carpentry skills for building or repairing roof structures
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work at heights
- Attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot roofing issues

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £15.00-£25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
