Personalized Care Services provides care to for the Elderly, people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Function Mental Health. And are currently seeking Support Workers in Ilkley who will provide personalised care & support to enable greater independence in a response to an assessment of people’s individual needs.

The role involves shift work, you will be working as part of a team on a flexible rota over 7 days including weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties for which you will receive additional payments. You will be committed to promoting dignity, respect, choice and independence and will be expected to have good knowledge of safeguarding roles and processes. Experience desirable but not essential as full training provided, in working with one of the client groups, the elderly, Adults with Learning Disabilities, and be able to demonstrate knowledge of autism specific service delivery.

The people we support at Personalised Care Services have high support needs, behaviour that may challenge and Autism Spectrum Disorders. We provide support which is tailored to meet individual needs and deliver care which maintains dignity, respect and human rights. The role brings diversity and variety, with great opportunities to develop different skills. You will need a wide variety of skills, including excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a team and under your own initiative.

You will be offered to undertake a Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2 if you do not already hold this qualification.

Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ilkley, West Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Support Worker: 1 year (preferred)
