**Who We’re Looking For**:
The **Cable Installer** will work as part of an existing highly experienced team that is currently in place. So this is an opportunity to expand basic knowledge and improve skills in this area. This individual will be responsible for the installation of the clients Cat6, Cat7 cables and equipment. Duties will also include, removal of existing cabling, as well as the maintenance / surveying existing equipment over time.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Install and maintain Cat 6 / Cat 7 cabling, network equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on cables and equipment.
- Strip out of exisiting cabling and infrastructure.
- Install new systems by following instructions on manuals, schematics, and documents provided by customers.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure safety at work sites and during installation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager to ensure proper company standards are maintained throughout the operation.

**Qualifications**:

- CSCS/ECS card - ESSENTIAL
- Some previous experience in installation of data cabling environments.
- IPAF - Working at heights ticket, First Aid at work, SMSTS/SSSTS - Desirable
- Previous experience working on airport or similar environments.
- CRB/DBS Check clear - No unspent convictions
- Demonstrable 'Right to work' in UK documentation will be required.
- Ability to read technical documents such as manuals, schematics, etc and understand them sufficiently to follow directions from professionals who mainly speak in English.
- Ability to follow basic oral and written instructions in English.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision while performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
- Ability to work in a team environment while providing assistance to other employees performing related tasks.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 15 months

**Salary**: From £195.00 per day
