**ACCOUNTS SENIOR / BRIDGWATER - HYBRID WORKING OPTIONS AVAILABLE**

**Location**: Bridgwater, TA6
**Job type**: Permanent
**Hours**: Monday to Friday 36.25 hours per week, part time hours considered
**Salary**: Negotiable salary, dependent on experience

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are currently recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join our clients Accountancy Practice in Bridgwater with hybrid working options available with either full time or part time hours.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Preparing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders to the audit threshold
- Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations and returns
- Providing bookkeeping and management accounting services
- Working as part of the digital services team supporting the delivery of app research and recommendation engagements based upon the Xero app ecosystem
- Filing Companies House and HM Revenue & Customs documents on clients behalf
- Ensuring that accounting records for clients are maintained and kept up to date
- Dealing with the preparation and completion of quarterly VAT returns
- Comply with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards and regulatory requirements
- General administration duties to provide support to the Partners, Directors, Managers and the office

- Good working knowledge of general IT Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Social Media programmes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of working at an Accounts Senior or Semi-Senior level in an accountancy practice
- Previous experience in accounts preparation for limited companies and unincorporated businesses
- ACA / ACCA qualified or part qualified (AAT qualified or qualified by experience also considered)
