Maidstone, United Kingdom European School of Osteopathy Full time

The BCNO Group, the newly merged organisation comprising The European School of Osteopathy in Kent and The British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London, is looking to increase its bank of experienced Standby Tutors for its Kent teaching clinic.

The clinic, based in Maidstone, sees over 16,000 patients each year which provides valuable opportunity for our students to undertake their requisite clinical hours. There are three sessions (am, pm and eve) which you might be asked to work and our opening hours are between 9.00am to 8.30pm Monday to Thursday, and to 5.45pm each Friday.

As a Standby Tutor you need to be a registered osteopath with at least 3 years of osteopathic practice experience coupled with the ability to positively teach and encourage the students you will supervise. If you have previous experience in an osteopathic educational setting then even better. You will be a positive and motivated person with a desire to support the next generation of osteopaths.

The nature of the role is such that we will call on you when there’s a gap to be filled - usually we have some notice of this because it will be a holiday booking but sometimes requests can be short notice. That said, we don’t expect you to drop everything But we do need people who have some free time.
