Job description

We require a Vehicle Damage Assessor/ Bodyshop Estimator to join our ever expanding team.

Your role will include:
- To be the initial interface with the customer for all accident repair enquiries.
- To inspect customer vehicles and provide an estimate for repair for the customer directly or to Insurance providers in accordance with accident repair agreements.
- Liaise with Customers, Insurance Companies and service providers to ensure all financial and repair formalities are effectively completed to the satisfaction of all parties.
- Take opportunities to promote and provide additional Company services and products.

Our body shop boasts up to date facilities, equipment and technology in workshops and we work to BSI and Insurance standards to ensure quality repairs for our customers.

Skills Preferred:

- Technical skills, knowledge, and experience of Body and Paint repair in the accident and repair industry
- Technical and engineering / Estimating experience So a good clear knowledge of current estimating systems i.e. Audatex is essential. Also working knowledge of Autoflow Body shop management system will be advantageous
- Good Professional negotiation skills
- The ability to communicate well under pressure
- Ability to deal with complaints and complaint handling and to liaise and support customer service staff to ensure cohesive handling and management.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
