We are an independent care provider in Hemel Hempstead. We specialise in caring for the elderly and those with dementia, learning and physical disabilities. We provide a distinctive home care service and have been doing so since 2016. We are rated GOOD by the Care Quality Commission.

Our carers have a range of different roles. Visits range from 30 minutes to live in care and our earliest visit starts at 6am and the last ends at about 10pm. Duties vary and our mission is all about enabling clients to be independent for as long as possible.

Many of our clients have no family or friends living nearby and having a friendly chat with a familiar face can make all the difference. We also believe this is where true care lies. A task can be taught, compassion comes from within.
- As a Care Assistant, you will support people with dementia, learning and physical disabilities in their own homes and the community
- Medication support
- Basic housekeeping, food preparation and light cleaning
- Personal Care (e.g. support with using the toilet, washing and bathing)
- Accompanying clients to the shops and appointments or doing their shopping
- Supporting clients to lead an independent life
- Companionship

Hours: Rota Monday - Sunday, 30-40 hours per week. 5 out of 7 days, Un-paid lunch break

**Training provided**:

- Level 2 Adult Care Worker (Standard)
- Care Certificate
- Level 1 & 2 Functional Skills English and Maths

Expected duration: 18 months

**Reality check**:
Home care or domiciliary care involves working in the community. It comprises providing required care in a service user’s home. This means travelling from home to home providing care. It breaks the day and you get to meet many people.

**Salary**: From £8.00 per hour
