Even during these unprecedented times, my client a global leading financial services organisation is still very much "business as usual". They have consistently grown and evolved over the last couple of years and this is something that is not going to change.

Their Financial Crime Hub (FCH) operations team has 1st line responsibility for the verification of new and existing UK clients for Anti Money Laundering (AML) purposes, as well as in addition to the performance of periodic reviews and investigation of PEP,sanctions and adverse media screening alerts.

You will form part of a Technical function within this area where you will primarily provide first-line support to operational staff on technical or process related queries, identify and close training and knowledge gaps, and have ownership of these FCHprocedures. Additionally, you will at times be involved in process reviews and training of change or regulatory initiatives that impact these processes. In doing so you will work as part of the functional leadership team, where other responsibilities willinclude:

- Taking ownership of functional process documents, supporting a regular review and accurate version control. Support a migration of process documents to Knowledge Base
- Providing training on technical concepts and processes to the team, resulting in a reduction in the volume of queries and increased results from knowledge testing over the long-term
- Supporting the function in implementing strategic change to meet regulatory requirements, increase efficiency or increase customer experience

As someone who already possesses some experience with AML or the wider financial services sector, you will also be a self-starting individual, confident in engaging communication through a variety of medium, together with the ability to respond rapidly tochanging agendas and ideally be able to question internal processes and encourage improvement

Any training or project management experience would be nice to have but not essential.

The role offers flexible hybrid working where you will only need to be in the offices 2-days a week, together with a highly attractive remuneration and benefits package.
