We are proud to be recruiting for one of our fantastic clients based in the Thornbury area. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supervisor looking for their next secure role.

This role involves working in a Logistical environment, so previous experience in this sort of setting is advantageous.

Your role will involve assisting with the management of the logistics operations activities. This is to ensure that the logistics department meet KPI’s whilst ensuring that department standards are kept at all times in regard to HS&E policies. You will be expected to contribute and actively support the development of all department work practices, processes, and services. This could include liaising with the supply chain manager to manage stock levels and implement new products. 80% of this role will involve working on the shop floor so this is still a hands on role.

This role will involve working a shift pattern, so you must be flexible in terms of working days and hours.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited too;
- Meeting delivery requirements
- Adhering to 5s practices
- Record keeping and use of in house computerised systems
- Managing the team and ensuring the achievement of productivity is met
- Carrying out incident and accident reports
- Undertaking training and development courses
