Fire Safety Inspecting Officer/quality Assurance

The Quality Assurance team for prevention and protection are looking for a highly motivated Fire safety inspecting officer to join the team.

You will be undertaking Quality Assurance audits on previously audited buildings to ensure Fire Safety legislation is being applied consistently across Teams and that technical standards and any enforcement decisions taken by Inspecting Officers are appropriate, producing a summary of findings and recommendations; collating periodic analysis of trends for monthly reports and assisting team leaders in preparing concise and accurate reports.

Hybrid working will be considered on agreement with your line management and the London Fire Brigades working needs.

While this is initially a 24 month fixed term contract, there is a possibility that this could be extended.

Assessment for this role is due to take place early/mid April. Please be advised that if you are unable to make the scheduled assessment date, we may not be able to make alternative arrangements.

Please note: Should you be shortlisted you may need to be able to conduct an interview over Microsoft Teams (a video conferencing service). You will be asked to provide relevant contact details for that to take place if shortlisted.
