An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Sister to join the Paediatric ED team at Scarborough Hospital. Our team consists of nurses and support staff across all bands, allowing a supportive environment to develop skills and provide an exceptional patient experience. We are also in the privileged position of having a dedicated Nurse Educator within the team as well.

York and Scarborough Hospitals are both undergoing new build development, which will include a Paediatric specific area which is something special to become part of and to be involved in and start our new era.

We are looking for individuals to provide high quality care in our friendly, busy and fast paced department. You will have the opportunity to work in all areas of ED, including:

- Minors
- Majors
- Resuscitation

You will develop your clinical skills, within streaming, triaging and injury management. You must have excellent communication skills and want to be part of an innovative nursing and medical team.

You will be supported by our enthusiastic Children's Nursing Team, Nurse Educator Specialist Nurses and medical staff, offering you excellent learning and development opportunities. You will have a tailor made personal and professional development plan to support your career development within this exciting new role.
