**Lawnscience (North Leeds) Ltd **are looking for a customer focused, hardworking, keen and reliable person to join our team to help keep our customers lawns looking lush, green and healthy. The company provides regular lawn care treatments (not mowing) to a loyal customer base within 12-14 miles of Wetherby.

**What will the position involve?...**

The position would be suited to a person who has an interest in a career in Professional Lawncare. The main function of this role is to deliver a high standard of Lawncare treatments and associated services to our customers in Wetherby and surrounding areas. You will be required to learn and develop a technical/operational knowledge, including the competent use of all products, equipment and machinery.

On the job training is provided. A PA1 & PA6 certificate (safe use of chemicals/pesticides) is required. Training can be provided to gain required qualifications.

Working on your own or within a small team on a day-to-day basis you will be....
- Working outdoors on our customers lawns completing seasonal and ad hoc lawncare treatments.
- Engaging with customers, building working relationships, dealing with issues and offering advice, upselling additional treatments and services.
- Always providing excellent customer service and quality of work standards.
- Supporting marketing initiatives such as leafleting around current customers and engaging with potential new customer opportunities.
- Completing associated paperwork and using our work systems when required.
- Keeping company vehicles and equipment clean, tidy and serviceable.
- Be flexible and adaptable to change and willing to learn and take on additional new tasks/responsibilities when required.

**You will need to....**
- Be physically fit to carry out treatments. Work is manual, using equipment and walking a lot. (Great for your daily step count and wellbeing)
- Have positive attitude and outlook towards work. Enjoy working on your own and with colleagues.
- Be reliable and punctual with high work ethic and attention to detail.
- Must have a flexible work attitude. Working longer hours in busy periods and seasons and shorter hours when quieter and over the winter months.
- Have a full driving licence with minimum 2 years driving experience and ideally experience of driving a van. Van is provided by the company.
- Have ideally customer service experience and some sales background
- An interest in working outdoors is important
- Ideally a background in Lawn care, Green keeping, Grounds/Sports maintenance
- Some practical and DIY skills
- Health and safety awareness
- Have good numerical skills and computer literate.

**What is the package on offer?...**
- Working hours are based on 40 hours per week. However, due to seasonality and weather, flexibility is essential. Working longer hours in busy periods and less hours in quieter and winter periods. Daily start times with flexibility to workload and weather.
- Starting salary of £24,000 - £28,000 per year (depending on experience)

- Initial 28 days holiday (to include bank holidays)
- Bonus scheme after initial period. Based on targets and performance

Ability to commute:

- The company is based near Wetherby and services customers in the surrounding areas
