**Introduction**:
**Roles and Responsibilities**

The Tutor in Stevedoring will be responsible for the following:

- Delivering a 3 week Stevedoring course successfully to a cohort of 15 learners for a duration of 3 weeks
- Provide learners with skills and knowledge in stevedoring and port operation at level 1/2/3
- Ensuring learners are completing assignments and exit paperwork are all complete in a timely manner
- Engaging with the learners in group sessions and setting up 1 to 1s when necessary for learners that require additional support

**Experience and Skills**

The Tutor in Stevedoring will require the following:

- Hold a teaching qualification such as AET, PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS or equivalent
- Experience delivering AEB or other funded programmes to adult learners based on site or in the classroom
- Occupational experience in stevedoring, port operation or working on shipping ports dealing with cargo/slinging.
- Hold a full UK drivers licence (clean).
