Exam Invigilator

New Directions Education are looking to appoint flexible and adaptable Exam Invigilators, to work on an ad hoc, seasonal basis, supporting secondary schools during the busy exam season. We currently have vacancies in Merthyr Tydfil and surrounding.

The positions available are part-time, and will include either a morning or an afternoon shift, (e.g. 8:30am - 11:30am or 12:30pm - 3:30pm).

**Exam invigilators are responsible for**:

- Ensuring the security of the examination before, during and after
- Preventing possible administrative failures
- Liaising with the Examination Officer and Senior Invigilator

There will also be some requirement to work as a reader or scribe for students with access arrangements, therefore excellent communication is essential.

**Please note, completion of Exam Invigilator training, Safeguarding Children Level 1 training and an Enhanced Child-Only DBS Certificate will be required for this role.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract

Pay: £11.92 per hour
