Our multidisciplinary Modeling & Simulation experts design & implement health economic models to:

- Describe sophisticated medical processes
- Understand and evaluate the implications of clinical trials
- Demonstrate the value of interventions beyond efficacy
- Assess benefits, risks, and the economic consequences associated with healthcare interventions.

Typical projects include health economic modeling to conduct cost-effectiveness analyses of healthcare interventions and implementing decision-analytic models (e.g., decision trees, Markov, individual state transition, survival partition), research and data analytics.

**Position Overview**:
The Modeling & Simulation (M&S) group within Evidence Synthesis, Modeling and Communications (EMC) encompasses modelling but also includes statistics and analytics related to health economics. The Global HEOR/Modeling Team Lead is accountable for providing senior level strategy and direction for the global Modeling and Simulation team with individuals located in the America’s, Europe and APAC.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)**:

- Leads the strategic direction of this functional team of professionals in conjunction with Evidence Synthesis, Modeling and Communications’ strategic plan and practice area lead
- Develop best-in-class proposals for clients
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and monitoring sales targets for senior level leaders and all within the Modeling group
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with key internal (Evidera and PPD) and external stakeholders responsible for growth within the Peri/Post approval space
- Maintains senior level oversight on all hiring and professional development for Modeling & Simulation group
- Working closely with other leaders to advance the Evidence Synthesis, Modeling and Communications market position and support the achievement of Company level authorizations, revenue and profit goals.
- Occasional domestic or international travel may be required.

**Education, Professional Skills & Experience**:
PhD with greater than 11 years of directly relevant experience in a similar industry/consulting environment; or Master's degree in relevant discipline with greater than thirteen years of directly relevant experience in a similar industry/consulting environment.
- Proven capability to lead a Modeling professional services business with a minimum of 10+ years’ of increasingly responsible experience in the area of financial oversight, product or service development and staff development and direction.
- Fully proficient in the development and implementation of a business strategy and go-to market plans for new and existing products and services.

**Personal Skills & Competencies**:

- Excellent written and spoken English. Other languages a plus
- Individual must have a quantitative background - preferred degrees in Health Economics, Economic Evaluation, Statistics or similar
- MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel; should have familiarity with data analysis software.

The salary range estimated for this position is $183,000 - $201,000. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
