**Prevention Education Instructor**

**Salary: £22,777-£25,409 per annum (pro-rata)**

**Hours: 29 per week (Monday - Thursday)**

**Your role**:
We seek a highly motivated individual to act as key support to our local communities to deliver educational activities, build and maintain professional relationships, as well as engaging with people across a wide variety of cultures.

Part of role delivery is based at GMFRS Training and Safety Centre in Bury. The Training and Safety Centre offers a unique and immersive environment to learn the key safety messages around safety and the prevention of fire. Other delivery will be based across Greater Manchester within a variety of settings such as, schools, community centres and Fire Stations.

Your role will be varied, at times challenging but highly rewarding - this is your opportunity to make a difference to our communities within Greater Manchester.

To actively take part in the coordination and delivery of community events within the wider community including activities in line with Greater Manchester Campaigns.

**About you**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and motivated person to deliver our important key safety messages to a variety of groups within the community.

You must have:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills in professional settings.
- Experience in coordinating and delivery of community safety packages to support the reduction of risk to intergenerational groups in a variety of settings, including vulnerable groups.
- Proven experience in project support/delivery environment.#
- Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands.
- Ability to develop creative solutions to challenges/issues.
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships.
- This role includes working occasional evenings and weekends.
