Tradewind is currently in search of a graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor in the High Wycombe area. This is a flexible, ad-hoc position designed to accommodate varied working arrangements. Your responsibilities will involve covering lessons with pre-assigned plans. We seek confident individuals with strong English language skills who are eager to make a positive impact on the upcoming generation.

** Competitive daily rate ranging from £100 to £145, contingent on experience

** A valid driver's license is required due to school locations in and around High Wycombe

** Cover Supervisor - tasked with covering lessons for students aged 11-18

** Multiple schools in High Wycombe and surrounding areas, with flexible working arrangements tailored to your weekly availability

** Immediate start with a flexible contract available from September

** Monthly Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities provided by Tradewind

About the Schools - Graduate Cover Supervisor

The role of a Cover Supervisor stands as an excellent gateway into teaching prior to pursuing a PGCE. In this capacity, you'll receive a daily timetable and lesson plan, with key responsibilities including monitoring student behaviour, facilitating learning, and ensuring adherence to school policies. Your assignment will span 3-4 schools in your local area, be it in HIgh Wycombe or neighbouring towns. Work will be offered based on your availability, with a maximum travel time of one hour. On occasion, early morning availability (0700 - 0730) may be required for last-minute bookings, given the nature of covering for sick or unavailable teachers.
