Finance Manager - Data

Based: Manchester (Hybrid)

**Salary**: circa £65k + bonus + benefits including health cash plan, pension and opportunity to progress

Exciting PE backed business looking for a progressive qualified Accountant to join the team

Our client is a UK leading, rapidly expanding PE backed services business. Owned by a larger group, they have plans to double business turnover in the next 3 years through organic growth and acquisitions. This role will work under the Director of Performance& Strategy, a newly developed internal team for the business. This team are commercially focused, working with all business departments including pricing, trading, marketing and more. We are looking for a highly analytical Accountant with experience utilisingdata - you will be responsible for monitoring, analysing and helping influence the day to day performance of the business from a commercial perspective

Role:

- Influencing business performance at top line, delivering short term trading targets and long term strategic objectives
- Challenging internal stakeholders on performance and strategy direction to drive business outcomes
- Managing preparation and development of product trading analysis to support weekly exec meetings
- Chairing product meetings, providing insight around recent performance, providing details on opportunities to support performance improvement and flagging risks and concerns
- Delivering detailed, insightful analysis to solve complex business problems
- Monitoring and reviewing set of performance KPI's over key product and channels
- Driving through automation of manually produced MI and analysis using Power BI including stakeholder management and validation of information
- Working closely with pricing and analytics teams to challenge and support commercial decision making
- Developing new and improve existing data sets to support decision making - comparison of ROI
- Leading on key performance and strategic reviews internally
- Development of new performance dashboards to support and progress for future

**Experience**:

- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant
- Strong analytical skills including management of large data sets
- Commercial mindset and confident in your approach to challenge stakeholders
- A desire to progress in a rapidly expanding business offering future 'Head of' opportunities
- Power BI experience advantageous but not essential
