Conveyancing Secretary

An opportunity has arisen for a full time Conveyancing Secretary / Assistant to join our busy Residential Conveyancing team at our Bishop Auckland office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting fee earners with day to day running of files.
- Audio typing using a digital dictation system.
- Using a case management system for maintaining files and producing correspondence.
- Carrying out administrative tasks such as opening and closing files.
- Producing quotations for clients and referrers.
- Ordering searches.
- Processing mortgage reports.
- Making appointments for clients and assisting with managing the fee earners diary.
- Dealing with enquiries from clients and estate agents over the telephone and in writing.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- The ability to manage a busy workload.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work at a highly professional level.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills.
Previous experience of working within a conveyancing or legal setting is desirable.
Salary negotiable dependant on experience.
