Yard Foreman

Extra recruitment are looking to recruit a **Yard Foreman** in the Tamworth area.

**KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS**:
**Internal - **Responsible for effective management of all yard operatives,

reporting directly to Operations Manager, supporting and liaising with

all other branch functions

**External - **Contributing to achieving high level of customer satisfaction.

Integrity must be maintained at all times when dealing with all above key

relationships.

**Details of a Yard Foreman**:
Ensure all operatives are fully trained and certificated for tasks and duties

Maintain quality and integrity of all equipment/stock, ensuring all lifting

equipment is tested and certificated as fit for use

Lead by example, motivate and manage the team

Control transport in and out of yard via trained banksman.

Ensure that the company guidelines, procedures and documentation are

complied with.

**Job role of a Yard Foreman**:
Ensure the yard operation functions within the defined monthly and annual

budget.

Comply with and ensure all employees, visitors and sub-contractors comply

with company and Health and Safety Executive policies and procedures.

Ensure proper recording of all incidents and make every effort to reduce

Accident Frequency Rate (AFR)

Ensure condition of equipment is comprehensively recorded both on delivery

and return, and maintain effective stock control

Effectively manage all staff within remit, i.e. training, motivation, evaluation

and development.

Effect efficient planning of labour and material.

Ensure the timely submission of identified reports and inventory returns in

line with the business program.

working Hours -8am - 5pm overtime available
