Tide Recruitment are working with a healthcare charity in their search for a Head of Finance to join their expanding organisation.

This organisation has an ambitious way of thinking and are always looking for new and exciting ways to grow the charity. The charity is looking for a highly driven individual to work collaboratively with the team in order to achieve the best results.

As the Head of Finance your job responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Ensuring that monthly management accounts are produced, along with supporting schedules. The wider team will review national and international programmes.
- Preparing financial results and finance matters that may require attention to senior management team meetings
- Working alongside the Treasurer to present key financial reports to the board of trustees on a regular basis
- Ensuring compliances with policies and controls of the organisation, obtain, check, and manage information flow to payroll providers.
- Ensuring that all duties are carried inline the organisations polices and procedures
- Managing the finances of the organisation effectively on a day to day basis
- Ensuring compliances with the relevant accounting standards and legal requirements
- Managing the bookkeeper and finance lead
- Ensuring quality service to external stakeholders and respective audiences and to comply with the organisations management protocols
- Working closely with the directors to review and agree budgets

There will be an opportunity for hybrid working with this role.

Head of Finance Job Criteria
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent) is desirable
- As Head of Finance, you will need to efficiently manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Effective communicator
- Experienced in leading a team of finance professionals
- Experience working within the charity sector or strong knowledge of SORP would be highly advantageous (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent project management
