- Maintain inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Train and mentor junior bakers or kitchen staff, sharing your expertise and fostering a positive work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a professional baker, preferably in a café or bakery setting.
- Strong knowledge of various baking techniques, including cake decorating, pastry-making, and dessert creation.
- Ability to produce consistent, high-quality baked goods in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop and present new and unique dessert offerings.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a clean and organized work area.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Bakery Assistant

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and production of bakery items such as bread, pastries, and desserts
- Measure and weigh ingredients according to recipes
- Mix and knead doughs
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
- Decorate and finish baked goods with icing, glazes, or toppings
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of baking techniques and recipes is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills
