**Brief Role Description**:
As an Infrastructure Specialist you will be taking a hands-on, role covering technical architecture design and implementation of solutions for our customers across all technical aspects including but not exclusive of the following technologies and as the role is 80% customer facing so you will genuinely enjoy working with customers and have the ability and willingness to interact with others around you.

- Teams - Power Automate - OneDrive - SharePoint
- Security and Secure Score - Defender
- **Microsoft Azure**:Azure Virtual Desktop - Storage
- AADDS - Virtual Networks - Virtual Servers
- Cloud telephony systems
- Microsoft Autopilot and Intune including pre-provisioning.
- Office 365 Mail Migrations (from on-premise and tenancy migrations etc.)
- Managed Endpoint Protections
- Managed Backup Solutions
- Anti-Spam Solutions
- Firewall - Physical and Virtual
- Networking
- Wi-Fi Solutions
- Microsoft server and associated programs
- Perform pre
- sales support.

**Your main duties will include but are not limited to**:

- Timely production of documentation for customer and internal use, including support documentation / technical guides.
- Onboarding and offboarding of clients both on-site and via remote support.
- Deploy and configure IT Systems, software on-premise & cloud
- Deploy and maintain on-premise and cloud servers
- Configure and maintain network products (switches, firewalls, routers)
- Gathering technical information to assist our Sales Account managers in creating a roadmap for the client businesses and implementation of solutions.
- Function as a third line point of escalation for the service desk function.
- The role will also form part of the Pre-Sales team providing client demonstrations, technical solutions, and proposals to assist the Sales team.
- Deliver these proposals to clients and prospects.
- Update internal systems with real-time information on location and progress of task.
- Support an extensive portfolio of clients through the latest technologies.
- To Adhere to the Group Information Security Policy and working to ISO27001 and ISO9001 standards

**Key Knowledge & Experience**:
As a minimum for the role, you should have the following:

- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- A successful record of designing and delivering IT solutions.
- An in-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure, ideally holding MS-101, AZ-104 and AZ-303 certifications.
- Good knowledge of traditional on-premises infrastructure including servers, networking, and perimeter security
- The ability to be able to translate technical solutions so that sales and clients fully understand these to make informed decisions.
- Ability to multitask while prioritising workloads.
- Participate in customer technology workshops when required.
- Must have strong customer facing personality and the ability to engage a diverse customer base.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and technical documentation.
- Methodical approach to solving problems.
- Excellent communication with both clients and internal teams.
- UK driving licence as travelling to customer sites is a requirement for this role.
