You will be required to actively promote and ensure adherence to health and safety standards across both sites, fostering a culture of safety excellence. You will be reporting to the Head of HSE, below are the responsibilities;
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Promote and enforce adherence to the integrated management system (IMS) and minimum operational standards.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections, addressing identified health and safety issues promptly.
- Champion a positive health and safety culture by advocating best practices and innovation.
- Investigate accidents and incidents onsite, generating detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on health and safety legislation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Attend client and site meetings to reinforce safety procedures and contribute to HSE discussions.
- Assist in monitoring and reviewing client's management and working procedures, identifying areas for improvement.

**Requirement for the role**:

- Experienced health & safety professional, preferably within the têxtile industry.
- Demonstrated visibility and ownership of all HSE requirements.
- Minimum IOSH or NEBOSH General certification.
- Capable of coordinating and managing HSE across both sites, overseeing safety and compliance for 15 - 180 personnel per site.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with the workforce and promote H&S best practices.
- Full UK Driving License as travel may be required
