An established firm of solicitors based in Stoke-on-Trent specialising in a wide range of commercial work are currently looking to recruit a Legal Cashier. You will be working as part of a busy firm and must have previous legal cashier experience and fullycompliant with the solicitors accounts rules.
**Legal Cashier **Maternity Cover - 12 months Contract with the potential of a permanent role**
Stoke-on-Trent**
**£20,000 - £25,000**
Experience of proclaim would be advantageous but full training will be provided and a Diploma or above in Legal Cashiering or AAT Qualifications would also be advantageous.
The firm offer hybrid working (4 days in the office and 1 day from her) competitive salary banding
Duties include
- Daily banking and bank reconciliations
- BACS and CHAPS payments
- Process client payments
- Monitor bank accounts for incoming client funds and bank transfers
- Handling general queries from fee earners and auditors
- Process inter account transfers
- Process invoices (internal and purchase ledger) and check completion statements
- Ensuring compliance with SAR, money laundering and VAT regulations
- Credit Control
- Producing management reports
