This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about dairy farming, with a drive to contribute to the success and growth of our business. We milk a herd of 570, all year-calving cows twice a day through a recently installed high specification Waikato rotary parlour. With the milking herd achieving an average of 9,500 litres and a pregnancy rate of 30%, we are aiming to enhance our technical performance in a number of areas. We rear all our own replacements across two sites with a closed herd policy. To ensure efficient cow management, we have made substantial investments in cutting - edge technology and infrastructure. This includes a climate-controlled cubicle housing, new handling systems, backing gate, auto footbath and foot trimming facilities. The farm also provides good staff facilities including a kitchen and shower room.
