We are growing a fantastic team of caregivers. We have immediate vacancies for caring, considerate and professional full time and part time caregivers (mornings, evenings and weekends) in the Derby abd surrounding area. We need caring and compassionate people who are flexible in their availability throughout the day and week. For this availability we can guarantee a minimum of 16hrs per week, and can offer more depending on your availability. We also need you to be a driver and have access to a vehicle on a daily basis, below are the fantastic benefits we offer
- Accredited by the Living Wage Foundation
- minimum 1hr average visits, to develop relationships
- minimum 15 minutes between calls, so you are not rushed
- hourly pay is £12.50 during the probation period (3 months)
- £12.70 after 3 months, depending on the hours of care delivered can rise up to £13.00
- Enhanced rates of pay for working outisde of your availability
- Travel time paid while driving between consecutive clients
- Mileage paid at 30p per mile between clients
- Shadowing is paid
- Enhanced DBS paid for
- Carers of the month award and voucher
- Carer of the year award (fully expensed trip to the annual conference)
- Guaranteed annual pay increase after 12 month anniversary
- Professional car valet twice a year after completion of the probation period
- Contribution to car service once per year up to max of £75, after completion of the probation period
- Pay for your annual MOT after completing the probation period

All Training is in house e.g.
- Moving and Handling
- Safe handling of medication
- CoVid-19 infection control
- Hand hygiene
- Visiting Angels Care Certificate

Our care and support visits are a minimum of one hour long. We don't think person-centred care can be delivered in less than one hour so we don't ask our caregivers to rush.
