Workshop Supervisor

We are looking for a capable workshop manager to join our prestigious VW-qualified campervan conversion company.

You will need to oversee a team of auto technicians ensure that our conversion production line and part-job bays both run smoothly. You will need to be a team player, able to work to deadlines and have the ability to use your own initiative.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, ISO, CoP an advantage.

**We build amazing leisure vehicles of the highest quality. From Bike vans, to full camper conversions, they aren’t your standard builds. Our workshop is a clean environment, working on brand new vehicles.**

**Workshop Supervisor/Leader Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the efficiency and utilization of a team of auto technicians
- Ensuring successful planning and distribution of job cards/workflows through the workshop
- Ensuring all related administration is completed to an accurate standard
- Ensure accurate & timely processing of all workflows to meet compliance requirements
- Pass all completed jobs to service costing / warranty / administration for invoicing whilst ensuring all work hours expended have been documented
- Ensure rectification is documented and passed to the office team for costing
- Operate the workshop loading system, allocating jobs to the technicians who are most suitable
- Deal with and upsell to customers when appropriate and enjoy hitting both personal and department targets
- Managing approx. 12 technicians, liaison with stores, office and engineers when needed
- Keeping organized and tidy workshops and yard at all time
- Goodworking knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel

The working hours will be 07:15am - 16:30pm Monday - Thursday, Fridays 07:15am - 12:30pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
